Eaglehawk Australia Day awards
THE Eaglehawk Australia Day committee is seeking nominations for its annual Australia Day awards.
Each year talented individuals and hard working volunteers are recognised by the community at the Borough Australia Day celebrations.
There are two award categories, community service award and junior achievement award.
Nominees should have made a contribution to Eaglehawk.
Past recipients have been involved in sporting clubs, girl guides and service clubs such as Rotary or Ys Mens.
Those making a nomination should send the name, address and telephone numbers of themselves and their nominee, along with a written submission of their achievements, to the secretary.
Mark your nomination with either community service award or junior achievement award and post to 7 McClelland Drive, Eaglehawk, 3556, by Friday, January 18.
This year’s Eaglehawk Australia Day celebrations will take place in Canterbury Gardens from 9.30 am on January 26.
