CD review

Band: The Hoosiers
Title: The Trick to Life
Genre: Indie pop
Label: RCA

The Hoosiers have been labelled Indie Pop which somehow takes them away from mainstream.
But in my opinion it’s pure pop, catchy lyrics and bouncy tunes.
This English band has had radio airplay in Australia with the single Worried About Ray. The album was released in the UK last October and here this month.
There’s a Freddie Mercury feel to the songs but with a more whimsical delivery.
Certainly not offensive and easy to listen to. I bet you’ll be humming the tunes after a few listens.
