Eaglehawk chasing back-to-back victories in pennant

Bowls Distruict Bowls Results
Defending champions Eaglehawk will be in search of back-to-back pennant titles when they face Castlemaine in the grand final of the Bendigo District Bowls Association pennant competition at Bendigo East tomorrow.
Eaglehawk trounced minor premiers Golden Square in the preliminary final to advance to the showdown with Castlemaine.
A total of 12 district bowls clubs will be represented in the nine sectional finals to be played across the region tomorrow.

And in the Bendigo District Cricket Semi Finals Bendigo United overcame a slow start to account for Golden Square to advance to its third consecutive grand final. Kangaroo Flat also advanced through to the grand final with a solid win over Strathdale Maristians.
