Campaspe Asset Management Services plan fundraiser
CAMPASPE Asset Management Services staff are gearing up for a fundraising walk next week to raise money for a special member of their extended family.
The son of CAMS staff member Michael Philp, Connor O’Sullivan, was last year diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of leukaemia.
Connor’s 12 year old sister Holly is severely autistic and requires around-the-clock care.
For most of the past year, Connor, Michael and mum Carolyn have been hold up at the Royal Childrens’ Hospital for treatment.
Meanwhile, the family’s life has been put on hold as bills mount.
To help them, CAMS staff are holding a walkathon next Friday around Lake Weeroona.
The event will run from 6am to 6pm and staff are asking people from across the city for sponsorship.
The event is also open to any member of the public who wants to take part.
CAMS is the contractor for Coliban Water. One of its trucks will be on site during the walk, providing an opportunity for business who want to sponsor the event and have their company name prominently displayed.
Options are also available for organisations wanting to sponsor walkers by wearing company t-shirts.
To find out more about taking part in the walk, or to sponsor walkers, contact Jan Webster on 5434 1321 or janicew@coliban.com.au
