Bendigo Regional Ethnic Communities Council’s Multicultural Festival
BENDIGO’S Civic Gardens will be a sea of colour and movement this Sunday with the Bendigo Regional Ethnic Communities Council’s Multicultural Festival.
The event will run from 11am to 3pm and feature a raft of the region’s top Australian and multicultural performers.
Featured will be the Indonesian Gamelan Orchestra and Indonesian Dancing Group, Thai dancing with live music, Filipino dancing, the Plum Blossom Chinese Dancers, Chinese Lion Dancers, Ann Conway and Indian Bollywood dancers.
There will also be a lot to do for children, with a roving clown and face painter, balloon artists and Koori activities.
The free festival will also include a craft stall, a Romanian gypsy palm and tarot card reader.
There will also be Indonesian, Filipino, Dutch, Chinese and Italian food and drink stalls.
