A WOMAN in her 30s from Ascot Vale died when her car was involved in an accident with a petrol tanker and another car north of Marong on Tuesday afternoon.
The semi trailer was travelling north on the Calder Highway about five kilometres from Marong when it collided head on with a car, with three occupants in it, travelling south at 5pm. 
The truck then hit a second vehicle being driven by the woman who died at the scene.
The survivors of the crash, including the dead woman’s 18 month old daughter, were taken to Bendigo hospital.
