Toy library back with bigger and better sale
By News Report
Previous success means new venue for baby event

THE Bendigo Community Toy Library will once again hold its popular Baby and Kids Sale
tomorrow.
Due to the success of last year’s event, the sale will this year be held at the YMCA’s Mundy Street Stadium.
Stall holders will be recycling their pre-loved cots, pushers, clothes, toys, books, high chairs and anything child-related.
An added bonus this year will be the inclusion of many local businesses, who will be selling new toys and clothes at discount prices.
Face painting, a sausage sizzle and raffles as well as lucky door prizes will add to the fair-like atmosphere expected on the day.
Money raised from stall hire at the sale will help the toy library update and maintain its collection of toys, games and puzzles.
The sale runs from 9am to 1pm.
The not-for-profit toy library aims to widen the play experiences of pre-school aged children in Bendigo and is run solely by members. Library membership currently stands at around 60 families.
