PROMINENT detectives will headline the 2008 season of Inside Story, where locals can hear about some of the most famous criminal cases of Victoria’s history and how they were cracked – first hand.
The Bendigo Weekly will again join forces with the Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation to conduct Inside Story.
Foundation chairman John Forbes said the unique program has a strong following in this region.
“During the course of the presentation the audience is taken through some of the state’s most notorious crimes by the people who actually led the investigations,” he said.
“The scene of each crime is expertly described and the audience virtually join the investigation as the speakers go through the process of how they solved the case.
“Most of the crime subjects have been covered in the media but at Inside Story the audience will hear and see the details of the investigations.”
 The next Inside Story will be held at the Kangaroo Flat Sports Club on Thursday, May 29 at 7pm.
Proceeds from the series will assist the Bendigo hospital.
