Bombers GM quits
By Alan Besley - Sport
Shock resignation
The Bendigo Bombers are on the look out for a new general manager after the shock resignation of Jeff Brennan this week.
Brennan, who joined the Bombers late last year, told Bombers officials of his decision to quit on Monday evening.
Bendigo Bombers chairman Ian Dyett told the Bendigo Weekly Brennan cited family reasons as his decision to quit the club.
“To be the general manager of the Bendigo Bombers is a very big commitment and we respect the decision of Jeff Brennan and we regret losing him,” Dyett said.
Board member Peter Lodewiczs will carry out the duties of general manager until a new appointment is made.
The Bombers were placed in a similar position at this time last year when Matthew Allan quit the club to return to Melbourne.
