» ANTI-COUNCIL RALLY DAY SET
A PUBLIC rally in the Civic Gardens on April 4 will call for the sacking of the City of Greater Bendigo council. The rally will be held at 5.30pm to coincide with the start of council’s meeting. Representatives from community groups, business leaders and ratepayers met on Wednesday to finalise plans for the rally.

» Police open day for public
BENDIGO police will host an open day for the public to visit the new police station on Monday, March 12 between noon and 2pm.

» Delay hits parliament
BENDIGO’S police shortage has entered state parliament. Liberal Member for the Northern Region Donna Petrovich called on the Minister for Police and Emergency Services, Bob Cameron, to tidy up his own back yard.

» New office project modelled on car park
THE City of Greater Bendigo council is looking at using the same strategy to build its new offices as it used with the controversial multi-storey car park.
