Artist: Adele
Title: 21

English singer song writer and Grammy award winner Adele is back for another slice of cool contemporary adult tunes.
We all thought she was a grown up when she released 19 two years ago but look at her now with the release of 21 offering a mix of musical styles presented in a smartly produced and intimate manner mostly thanks to her awesome and powerful voice.
The albums were named after her age at the time she wrote the albums.
21 seems to be following suit with the acclaim that was thrown at 19’s release by international critics.
This CD offers up well written and beautifully performed tunes that are full of life.
The sound is without a doubt another Adele album but there is a slight change with the introduction of more of a contemporary roots and country music vibe.
This addition in sound has been accredited to her tour bus driver whom played contemporary Nashville music that has seemed to sink into her psyche and has translated to the album.
Check out first single “Rolling in the Deep” on YouTube and when you get the chance to listen to the album I’m sure you will feel as I do and think that this is a stunning album and that every track is a highlight.
Adele is a class act. Not relying on kitsch or glitz to be noticed.
Just good solid songs presented as a whole and with an incredible soul singing voice.
