JODIE J HILL is asking you to dress up, cough up and cut loose at her charity luncheon at the Elphinstone Hotel; you get to meet ABC radio’s Fiona Parker too.

It’s all part of the Melbourne Fringe Festival and is set to raise funds for the Otis Foundation.

This former Castlemaniac is now living in Melbourne but is heading to Elphinstone for the fundraiser.

“The Goldfield girls really know how to have a good time,” she said.

“They haven’t gone to seed… yet. My Melbourne mates need to stretch their legs – so this is a great chance for those on the fringe to feel a part of it and for those in the thick of it, to run away.”

Jodie said the pooling of like-minded people will be good for the comedy.

“We’ll have some fun,” she said.

”The nervous energy will be great.

“It will be good for people to meet barrel girl Fiona Parker too, she has a great laugh.

“What’s more the Elpho’s new publican, Georgina Lewis, is really good looking, she’s a great cook and she can’t measure standard drinks very well.”

Benefactor of the fundraiser the Otis Foundation provides retreats for women and men living with breast cancer, at no accommodation charge.

“The Otis Foundation is such a positive collective of people,” Jodie said.

“They almost have the power to heal themselves.”
