EVCA president Ron Gray is known as a self-acclaimed Cricket Tragic.

Ron started his playing career in the mid 1970s at Golden Square then moved to Kangaroo Flat before joining West Bendigo in 1982 where he is a retired president, player and life member.

Ron is committed to the role of president of the EVCA working with fellow board members in promoting the association as it continues to grow and prosper.

Ron’s goals for the EVCA are to make sure everyone has a chance to get a game of cricket played under the right rules and also the chance to promote the brand and good name of the EVCA.

3. Sporting hero and why: Douge Walters – laconic personality, great batsmen and loves a beer.
4. One thing you hate about cricket: Days when it rains on and off.
5. Greatest sporting moment: Playing cricket with my sons.
6. Favourite place to holiday: Las Vegas.
