Josh in the spotlight

United Cricket club’s Josh White is this week’s Sportspower Player of the week.
Josh made 96 runs and took three wickets in the A Grade victory match against Maiden Gully on the weekend which now sees his team on top of the EVCA Ladder after four rounds.
Josh has been an A Grade player over a period of 10 years and has also participated in four A Grade premierships for his beloved UCC.
Josh works locally and besides playing he loves hanging out at the cricket club and helping behind the scenes.

1. Age you started playing cricket: 11
2. Your first club: Strath Maristians.
3. Sporting hero and why: I admire Shane Hartney on and off the field. He has taught me so much not only about off spin but about life.
4. One thing you hate about cricket: Cricket tragics.
5. Greatest sporting moment: When I won the Strathdale Open table tennis championship on Anzac Day 2006.
6. Favourite place to holiday: Anywhere I can catch a wave.
