Who needs to go to Melbourne when the mountain comes to us?

A special National Gallery of Victoria children’s art session will be coming to the La Trobe Art Institute this summer.

The event is free and no bookings are required, however the younger children must be accompanied by an adult.

A range of free, hands-on activities and workshops will be available and the art materials will be supplied.

The event was an enormous success at the LAI in 2018 when activities were enjoyed by young and old.

This year’s free informal workshop will be led by the creative team at LAI, with families free to drop in anytime between 11am to 1pm on Wednesday, January 16.

This is an opportunity to have creative fun with highly skilled, professional artists.
