Tennyson King – it’s a name that evokes notions of classic, literary depth and majesty.
But it also has the hallowed ring of the gritty, earthy roots of rock and roll.
He is currently on tour promoting his new EP Coast and was a feature artist at the 2018 Bendigo Blues and Roots Music Festival.
Now he’s back, and partnered with BBRMF and Arnold Street Gallery, he is putting on one last show in Bendigo before he leaves Australia for a tour in China.
King has performed at festivals such as Canadian Music Week, Winter Folk Festival, Taste of Danforth, China Town Festival, and Canada 150th in Barry’s Bay.
In 2017 King embarked on his first Australian tour playing more than 100 shows.
Tennyson King plays the Arnold Street Gallery, 7pm on Thursday, January 17. Tickets $15.
