The Shepparton Bulls outmuscled the Bendigo Miners in their recent clash, dominating the set piece and breakdown on their way to a 60-12 win.
The Bulls controlled possession and found it easy to gain territory, brushing off the Miners with ease.
Bendigo winger Jeremy Lingen opened the scoring after four minutes in promising signs for the hosts, with a try in the corner giving Bendigo a 5-0 advantage.
The final play of the match provided the Miners’ next score, with 60 Shepparton points in between. Jesse Tuitupou celebrated his 30th birthday with a solo effort after a tap penalty.
The floodgates opened just shy of half-time when Bendigo’s defence crumbled under the strong running and offloading of the Bulls.

The Miners are at home this Saturday, June 1, against Monash University from 3pm at Epsom Huntly Recreation Reserve.
